Through this policy and its underlying procedures, Ethos works to secure the confidentiality of customer records and information and protect against anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of customer records and information.

Ethos collects different types of personal information depending on the product or services you have with us. This information can include, but is not limited to, Social Security number, name, address, account numbers, statements, investment experience, and risk tolerance. Ethos collects this, for example, when you enter an advisory contract, open an account, or give us your contact information. It is the policy of Ethos to restrict access to all current and former clients’ information to those employees, affiliates, and nonaffiliated entities who need to know that information to provide products or services in furtherance of the client’s engagement of Ethos. In that regard, Ethos may disclose the client’s information for everyday business purposes (such as delivering routine service, processing transactions, etc.) or for marketing purposes (to offer our services to you). We may also share this information with our affiliates for everyday business purposes (transactions and experiences). Finally, we may disclose this information as otherwise permitted to do so in accordance with the parameters of federal and/or state privacy regulations. The disclosure of information contained in any document completed by the client for Ethos to facilitate a business relationship between the client and/or between Ethos and a nonaffiliated third party service provider (ex., broker-dealer, investment adviser, account custodian, record keeper, insurance company, etc.), including, but not limited to, information contained in any document completed and/or executed by the client in furtherance of the client’s engagement of Ethos (i.e., advisory agreement, client information form, etc.), shall be deemed as having been automatically authorized by the client with respect to the corresponding nonaffiliated third party service provider.

Federal law gives a client the right to limit Ethos sharing with affiliates information about your creditworthiness, and to limit Ethos sharing your information with affiliates and non/affiliates so they can market to you. Ethos does not share any of its clients’ information in these ways. State laws may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
